LOUIS is a consortium of public and private college and university libraries in the state of Louisiana, formed in 1992.
The purpose was to create a cost-effective collaboration among Louisiana's academic libraries.
LOUIS is governed by the LOUIS Management Board and the Louisiana Board of Regents.
