WHO IS A BAIL BONDSMAN?
First of all we should know about bail bond. Bail bonds are a security bond that is used to guarantee that a specific amount is paid for bail and for the appearance for an accused in the court. Bail Bondsman is a person or a corporation that will act as a surety and pledge money or property as bail for the appearance of persons accused in court.
TYPES OF BAIL
For less or unserious crime, an accused may be allowed to post a bail immediate after the being looked at the jail.
Cash Bails
Cash bail means accused must pay the full amount to the court; the accused can be pay via check or credit card.
Bail Bond (Security Bond)
The bondsmen handle the affairs for you and guarantee to the court that they will pay the bond forfeiture if the accused fails to appear for their scheduled court appearance.
Release on Citation (Cite Out)
In many cases the officer will not look the suspect at all but will instead issue a citation saying that accused must appear in the court.
