On the first day, two panel discussions focused on setting the stage for the theme and for sharing country experiences in the early implementation of the SDGs, with a discussion of the challenges and ways of implementation.
This was kicked-off with a keynote from Professor Jeffrey Sachs introducing the role of STI in the implementation of the SDGs.
