The mission of the counseling department is to develop and deliver a comprehensive counseling program that attends to the developmental needs of all students in areas of personal/social, academics, and college/career planning.   We strive to empower students to embrace their full potential in order to acheive the knowledge and skills necessary for academic success and personal growth

Class of 2016 scholarship totals:
School counselors provide academic counseling, facilitate 9th-12th grade presentations on CSU and UC "A-G' requirements, post-secondary options and Naviance, review transcripts, conduct four-year plan meetings, recommend and showcase scholarships, and write letters of recommendation.
School counselors provide presentations to expose and introduce students to different career tools and opportunities each year.  All students have access to Naviance, a college and career readiness tool, and are encouraged to explore multiple options in their free time.
