Volunteering @ The Hub
We really value the contribution our volunteers make - its them that makes the Hub a welcoming and comfortable place to be!

We had three new starts, so we took the opportunity to get everyone together for a Signposting Training Session on 31st August.  The volunteers really enjoyed spending time together as a team, and discussing the main issue we help people with.

We also discussed what we enjoyed the most about volunteering, and one of our volunteers summed it up nicely:

"Volunteering at the Hub is rewarding in itself, but to me, its become something so much more.  Working at the Hub as opened my eyes to so much, and for the first time since moving to Dunfermline, I feel part of the community.  I love the sense of belonging its given me. To be able to give back, whether its a cuppa or a chat, or just a friendly smile, having the opportunity to make a difference in someone's life is a truly awe-inspiring experience!"

We really love our experience of volunteering here, and if you'd like to find out more, please contact Katie on 01393 432483 or email [email protected]
