New and Improved!
Beginning in 2018, we will begin working on the genrefication of the biography section.  Students will soon be able to locate favorite biographies by popular categories!

6th Grade Primary Documents
All 6th grade students worked on a mini PRIMARY DOCUMENTS  lesson on Sourcing.   Students reviewed how to source a document.
6th Grade Science Breakout 
Special thanks to Mrs. Sexton, Mrs. Brown and Mrs. Elam for working with Mrs. Beall to create a SCIENCE BREAKOUT using the periodic table, elements, and chemical bonds.  Students were pumped to complete the STUDENT LED activity and left the class asking for more!
7th Grade Primary Documents
7th grade students worked on an  Industrialists activity.   Groups of students analyzed primary documents and connected items to industrialists. 
Level 1 ESOL Digital Breakout
Mrs. Stephenson and Mrs. Brown brought their Level 1 ESOL students to the library to work on a completely DIGITAL BREAKOUT.  Students worked in groups to successfully complete a STUDENT LED activity connecting library vocabulary with locations. The lesson ended with cheers of triumph, high-fives, and  jubilee. 
Mx. Pollock and Primary Documents
Students completed an Explorer's Map Activity with PRIMARY DOCUMENTS. The class worked collaboratively to analyze individual map pieces in order to create a world map.
