Mascots
Milt Mason was the original 'Bernie Brewer' back in 1970 when the Brewers were still new to Milwaukee. The 69-year old vowed to sit on top of the scoreboard until 40,000 fans came to a game. 40 days later, on August 16, 44.387 came to a game and Mason came down. The first race for the Klements' Racing Sausages took place on June 27, 1993. It made history as the first-ever event between mascots at a game.
