It's about discovering
European policy making
It's a chance
to share experiences
The first training
was organised in 2011 and over 50 professionals have participated since then
It's more than a seminar:
the participants are welcome
to join a number of activities.
These include workshops, study visits,
working groups, discussions...
The training couldn't be better located - as it takes place in Brussels, the participants can join roundtables at the EU Parliament, meet EU representatives and get an insider's look into policy making
The participants remain in the centre of the training process - they can shape the agenda according to their needs and interests
With participants coming from all over Europe, it's easier than ever to exchange information and knowledge about each others´organisations and adult education backgrounds
It opens a larger network thanks to which former participants continue to be updated about European developments
It takes the feedback
Arent Maes (Belgium):
“I liked meeting representatives of civil society organisations and other stakeholders in adult education. It all added up to a round picture of what is happening in the adult education sector in Europe."
Partcipating in a conference at the European Parliament and the meetings with representatives from the European institutions was particularly useful."
Dato Jikio (Georgia): “I feel I learned a lot about the challenges and developments in other countries. This, in turn, allowed me to reflect on my own country's situation."
Nana Chabukiani (Georgia):
“It was very valuable for me to learn about all the various levels where policies in adult education are made: the grassroots level with civil society, and policy-makers at national and European level."
WHAT THE PARTICIPANTS
Bríd Greenan (Ireland): “The training was excellent.
